If the terminating resistor (is shown with a dotted line in the diagram) is not installed on the vehicleside, it should be installed. Its presence can be checked with the help of a multimeter: it is necessary tomeasure the resistance between CAN_H and CAN_L when the vehicle electronics is off. If the resistance isabout 60 Ohm, there is no need for a terminating resistor. If the resistance is 120 Ohm, it is necessary toconnect a standard 120 Ohm resistor between the CAN_H and CAN_L wires.2.
