Responding to error codes 63Troubleshooting1762Onboard IDE ChannelAddress Conflict(s)1 Remove all the add-on cards in the system.2 Power on the system to see if it works without thecards.3 Reinstall the cards one by one to determine which ofthe cards caused the error.4 After determining the defective card or cards, enterthe Setup Utility and set the Reset ResourceAssignments parameter setting to Yes, then rebootthe system.5 If the problem still shows, set the Onboard IDEPrimary/Secondary Channel parameter to Disabled,then reboot the system.For information on using the Setup Utility, see“Starting the Setup Utility” on page 74.1780IDE Primary ChannelMaster Drive Error1 Make sure the IDE signal cable is properly connectedto the drive and to the system board.2 Make sure the drive power cable is properlyconnected.3 Enter the Setup Utility and make sure that the IDEPrimary Channel Master parameter setting is set toAuto.
