Turn off the computer and peripheral devices.3. Remove all external cables from the computer; then, remove the computer fromthe rack and remove the cover. Remove the expansion slot clip that holds the expansion slot cover in place bysliding it upward and off the frame of the computer.5. Remove the adapter according to the notes below:Notes:a. For the audio adapter:1) Disconnect the audio cable that connects to the video adapter.2) Slide the adapter horizontally to disconnect it from the riser-card.b. For the video adapter, you must remove the adapter with the riser-card stillattached to the adapter. To do this, complete the following steps:1) Lift up on the riser-card and remove it from the connector on thecomputer.2) Remove the audio adapter cable from the video adapter.3) Remove the adapter from the riser-card.6. Replace the riser-card in the connector on the computer.7.
