The use ofnon-Icom products may impair receiver performance and in-validate the warranty. Battery chargingPrior to using the receiver for the first time, the battery packmust be fully charged for optimum life and operation.CAUTION: To avoid damage to the receiver, turn it OFFwhile charging.• Recommended temperature range for charging:0°C to +35°C; +32°F to +95°F• Use the wall charger (BC-136A/D*) or optional desktopcharger (BC-135 for rapid charging) only.
