5SCANNING OPERATION42During auto-memory write scanning:1Busy (paused) frequencies are automatically stored intoBANK Q memory channels.2The scan is automatically cancelled when BANK Q becomesfull.3Unmodulated or beat signals may not be stored into mem-ory channels when the VSC function is turned ON.4While pushing [FUNC], push [(V/M)MW] when unwanted sig-nals (ones you don’t want to store) are received.For your convenience:Auto-memory write scan automatically clears all previouslystored information when it is started. Therefore, it is a goodidea to copy desired frequency data memorized duringauto-memory write scan into BANK A to P’s memory chan-nels before operating the scan.
