((p. 31))e Push and hold [MONI•T/T-SCAN] for 1 sec. to entertone squelch selection mode, then rotate [DIAL] until “ ”or “ ” appears in the function display.r When a signal with the matched tone is received, thesquelch opens and the receiver emits audio.• When the received signal includes an unmatched tone, thesquelch does not open.
