21Convect Roast (select models)To set Convect Roast:1. Place food in the oven. The two-piece broiler pan providedwith your oven can be used for convection roasting.2. Press the Convect pad.3. Select CNVT ROAST using theQuickset pads.OREnter the desired temperature using the number pads.Press Enter pad to set.• The temperature can be set from 170° F to 550° Fdegrees in 5° increments.5. Enter desired cook time. Enter the conventional roastingtime using the number pads.• After three seconds, the oven will begin to heat. CNVTROAST will appear in the display along with 100° or theactual oven temperature, whichever is higher.• The temperature in the display will increase in 1°increments until the oven reaches the presettemperature.• Cook time will begin to count down.6. At 75% of the cooking time the oven will beep to letyou know to check food. Check food using a meatthermometer. If food is done, take food out of oven andpress CANCEL pad to turn oven off.7. If food is not done, continue roasting.Once the set time has elapsed the oven willautomatically go into Keep Warm mode for1 hour. If food is taken from the ovenbefore the hour has elapsed, press CANCEL pad.Convect Pastry (select models)Convect Pastry is designed to bake pastry items such asfrozen pies, turnovers, cream puffs and puff pastry. Use onerack while using this feature.1. Press the Convect pad.2. Select CNVT PASTRY using theQuickset pads.OREnter the desired temperature using the number pads.Press Enter pad to set.• The temperature can be set from 195° F to 550° Fdegrees in 5° increments.• After three seconds, the oven will begin to preheat.CNVT PASTRY and PREHEAT will appear in the displayalong with 100° or the actual oven temperature, whichever is higher. AUTO will display if the Auto ConvectConversion (select models) feature is turned on.• The temperature in the display will increase in 1°increments until the oven reaches the presettemperature. Allow about 15 minutes for the oven topreheat.• When the oven is preheated, the oven will beep andPREHEAT will turn off and CNVT PASTRY will bedisplayed.4. At the end of cooking, turn the oven off bypressing the CANCEL pad. Remove foodfrom the oven. The oven will continueoperating until the CANCEL pad is pressed.4. Select the oven temperature using the Quickset pads. 3.
