Follow theregulations about handling of pole saws and chain saws in your country.Intended use of the machineThis equipment is designed only for the purpose of pruning branches and limbsless than 15 cm in diameter. Never use the equipment for the other purpose.Abusing the equipment may cause serious injury.Personal protective equipment- The clothing worn should be functional and appropriate, i.e. it should be tight-¿WWLQJEXWQRWFDXVHKLQGUDQFH'RQRWZHDUHLWKHUMHZHOU\RUFORWKLQJZKLFKcould become entangled with bushes or shrubs.- In order to avoid either head-, eye-, hand-or foot injuries as well as to protectyour hearing the following protective equipment and protective clothing mustbe used during operation.- Always wear a helmet where there is a risk of falling objects. The protectivehelmet (1) is to be checked at regular intervals for damage and is to bereplaced at the latest after 5 years. Use only approved protective helmets.- The visor (2) of the helmet (or alternatively goggles) protects the face fromÀ\LQJGHEULVDQGVWRQHV'XULQJRSHUDWLRQDOZD\VZHDUJRJJOHVRUDYLVRUWRprevent eye injuries.- Wear adequate noise protection equipment to avoid hearing impairment (earmuffs (3), ear plugs etc.).- 7KHZRUNRYHUDOOV SURWHFWDJDLQVWÀ\LQJVWRQHVDQGGHEULVWe strongly recommend that the user wears work overalls.- Special gloves (5) made of thick leather are part of the prescribed equipmentand must always be worn during operation.- When using the equipment, always wear sturdy shoes (6) with a non-slipsole.
