251Neoware Image Manager User ManualCHAPTER 19 The mPXELdrConfiguration FileThis chapter describes the mPXELdr configuration file and thesettings that can be specified in it.IntroductionmPXELdr can use a configuration file to set the list of NVD serversthat it will try to communicate with, in addition to DHCP Option132. This configuration file also allows the setting of several boot-time options which are described later in this chapter.mPXELdr will query the DHCP server that downloaded it for up toeight configuration files, in a fixed predefined order, until it findsits .ini file. For example, assume mPXELdr is running on amachine with a MAC address (Ethernet hardware address) ofm1:m2:m3:m4:m5:m6, and a DHCP-assigned IP address ofip1.ip2.ip3.ip4. mPXELdr will search for configuration files asfollows:1 m1_m2_m3_m4_m5_m6.iniSearch for an .ini file specific to the MAC address of thestation.2 ip1_ip2_ip3_ip4.iniSearch for an .ini file specific to the DHCP-assigned IPaddress of the station.
