36/1135. AT COMMANDS5.1 INTRODUCTIONThis document describes the AT commands that may be used with Nokia D211 operating inthe GSM / HSCSD/ GPRS network. A short description, syntax, possible setting values andresponses of the AT commands are presented. Detailed description of supported commandscan be found in the appropriate specification.Computers use AT commands to communicate with modems. Most communicationsapplications, however, have a user-friendly interface that hides these AT commands from theuser. When the software in the Nokia D211 has received an AT command, it responds with amessage that is displayed on the screen of the device you are using.5.2 AT COMMAND SYNTAXRefer V.25ter section 5 and GSM 07.07 section 4 for AT command syntax basics. Thissection describes the three different command formats and default value mechanisms fortheir parameters.Note: Note that the "AT" or "at" prefix must be included at the beginning of eachcommand line. You may type several AT commands on the same line, and insuch cases you need to type the "AT" or "at" prefix only at the beginning of thecommand line.5.2.1 S-register commandsTable format used in command description sections:Command Response valuesset Sn= x..y (default z)read Sn? xxx..yyyS-register command factory default value (&F) is given in parenthesis under column ëvaluesí. The existence of an S-register command may be queried by giving command withoutequal or question marks (e.g. ATS3 returns OK, but does not change the setting). may not be omitted when its value is set (e.g. ATS3= returns ERROR).
