97Chapter 6Running the Setup WizardIn this chapter"Getting started" (page 97)"Running the Setup Wizard" (page 98)Getting startedOverview of the restoration processYou can only run the CallPilot Setup Wizard on a CallPilot system containinga 5.0 software image. This can be either an existing system where a 5.0image was installed as part of an upgrade, or a new system received fromNortel for platform migration. The Setup Wizard rechecks for platform andsoftware validity, and then upgrades and restores your existing data. Therestoration process involves three main steps:1. Install any new SU/PEPs.The Setup Wizard first prompts you to install any outstanding PEPs.2. Check platform and software validity. The Setup Wizard checks the software and hardware components ofyour system to ensure that data can be safely restored from the backuponto the server.3. Restore your backed up data from the backup made by the CallPilot5.0 Upgrade Wizard. After a successful system check, the Setup Wizard restores your dataand then performs a database conversion. If your backup is on a network drive or you are downloading PEPs from thenetwork, you must restore your network settings:• Specify the IP address and subnet mask for the Nortel server subnet.Do not change your computer name unless necessary.• Specify the gateway for the Nortel server subnet.Nortel CallPilotUpgrade and Platform Migration GuideNN44200-400 01.12 Standard5.0 24 April 2009Copyright © 2007–2009, Nortel Networks.
