Performing low level formatting results in the drivesbecoming unusable.CAUTIONThis procedure requires that the logical drive be initialized. Whenyou initialize the logical drive, all data on the hard drives is erased.Do not perform this procedure unless you are replacing thehard drives, or you are rebuilding the CallPilot system (that is,reinstalling the Windows operating system and CallPilot software).To configure an LSI Elite 1600 RAID systemTo configure RAID, do the following:Step Action1 Turn on the server and press Ctrl+M when prompted during systembootup.Note: The Ctrl+M utility can take up to 1 minute to launch with111U firmware. The system may appear frozen.
