How to Program a Releasing Zone Appendix A: Releasing ApplicationsNFS-640 Programming Manual P/N 51333:B 10/03/2003 75How to Program a Release Audible CircuitNote: An output with a REL AUDIBLE Type Code requires the following selections: A Releasing Zone selection (R0-R9);An output circuit mapped to the same Releasing Zone; Switch Inhibit selected; Non-Silenceable; No Walk Test. The following contains information needed to program a Release Audible circuit for an output circuit(control module, NAC, or Panel Circuit) .Description An output circuit programmed to activate an audio or visual device when allreleasing outputs, programmed to the same Releasing Zone, turn on. You can alsoprogram multiple outputs with the REL AUDIBLE Type Code to the same ReleasingZone. When the Releasing Zone activates, all outputs with the REL AUDIBLE TypeCode activate at the same time. How toprogram1. Select a control module, NAC, or Panel Circuit (refer to “How To Modify OrDelete A Point (2=POINT)” on page 21) that you want to use as a Releasing Circuit.2. Select the REL AUDIBLE Type Code, as shown in the following example(control module shown).3. Select the Releasing Zone (R0-R9) for your releasing application.4. Press the ENTER key to save, then press the ESC key two times to return to theProgram Change screen.Example A programming example of a control module programmed as a Release Audible circuit forReleasing Zone R5.Figure 20 Control Module Configured as a Release Audible CircuitType Code selection: REL AUDIBLEPROGRM REL AUDIBLE MODULE ADDR 2M108R5 __ __ __ __ I** 2M108Releasing Zoneselection (R5 shown)Walk TestSelection: * = offSilenceable: * = offSwitch Inhibit: I = selectedType CodeREL AUDIBLEType CodeREL CIRCUITType CodeREL CIRCUITType CodeREL AUDIBLEFor example, a control module programmed with the RELAUDIBLE Type Code activates simultaneously with otheroutputs programmed for R05 (B01 and B02).ControlModuleB02B01ControlModuleR05MonitorModule Detector Detector DetectorXzone4.cdrwww.PDF-Zoo.com
