Refer to Confidential Faxes in Advanced Operations for theprocedures on how to create a mailbox and password.When password protection has been set for memory reception, thenprinting of any messages can only be done after entering a four digitpassword. Refer to the procedure given in Printing Confidential Faxes inAdvanced Operations.No paper receptionWhen your fax machine has run out of paper, a MSG. IN MEMORY,REPLACE PAPER message appears on the display. Your fax machinecontinues to receive faxes into memory when it has run out of paper. Yourfax machine automatically prints out any messages received in memorywhen the paper is replaced.No toner receptionWhen your fax machine is running low on toner, it displays a TONERLOW, REPLACE TONER CART. message. Rather than risk printing anunreadable message, your fax machine can be set by the supplier toautomatically receive faxes into memory. The default setting not to receivefaxes into memory when toner is running low allows time for you tochange the toner cartridge.If your fax machine has received a message in memory because toner islow, MSG. IN MEMORY appears on the display. To print out a messagestored in memory when toner is running low, replace the toner cartridge orfollow the instructions below.1. Press the Select Function key.2. Press the 10/Message Print From Memory One Touch key. Thedisplay shows 1:PRINT MEMORY MSG.?3. Press the YES key. The display shows FUNCTION NO. [ ].Note:Even if you see a TONER LOW message on your fax machine,you may be able to use the 10/Message Print From Memory OneTouch key to continue printing faxes, but the print quality cannotbe guaranteed. Replace your toner cartridge as soon as possible.
