Usethem for quick, one-touch dialing, and to access most of your MFPmachine’s functions and programming options.Using the One-Touch Keys for DialingTo use a One-Touch key for dialing, just press the appropriate One-Touchkey. For each key, you may program up to two telephone numbers: aprimary number, which is always dialed first, and an alternate numberwhich is automatically dialed if the first number is busy or if there is noanswer. You can also use the Location IDs (names) associated withOne-Touch keys to search for these locations by name using theSEARCH key.Using the One-Touch Keys for Selecting Functionsand ProgrammingUse the One-Touch keys for selecting special transmission and receptionfunctions, for obtaining reports and for programming.To select a function from the One-Touch keypad, press the SELECTFUNCTION key, and then press the corresponding One-Touch key.1/DELAYED TX Key: Use this key to send a fax at a later time anddate which you specify (within three days).2/PRINT OPERATION Key: Use this key to print out a confidentialreceived document stored in memory using a single digit personal boxnumber.3/CONF. TX Key: Use this key to send a confidential document to amail box (a memory storage area) in the receiving fax machine.4/RELAY INIT.-TX Key: Use this key to set up a relayed fax transmis-sion. During a relayed fax transmission, your MFP machine initiatesthe transmission by sending a document to a second fax machine,which then broadcasts the message to a number of other fax ma-chines.5/POLLING Key: When a document is loaded on the document table,use this key to set your MFP machine to wait for another fax machineto call and request the document to be sent (polling transmission).When no document is loaded on the document table, use this key tocall another fax machine and ask it to send the documents loaded intoit (polling reception).
