Key: Use this key to program your MFP machine’sidentification information, to set your MFP machine’s clock, to set upmailboxes for confidential message reception, and to change yourMFP machine’s function settings.10/PRINTER CLEANING Key: Use this key to print a cleaning pagefor clearing accumulated toner from your MFP machine’s image drum.Signal TonesYour MFP machine emits a number of sounds to inform you of specificconditions.Key Select Tone: This is a short beep that is generated each timethat you press a key.Error Tones: If you press a wrong or inappropriate key, your MFPmachine emits three short beeps. If your MFP machine experiences aproblem during communications, it emits five long beeps. Press theSTOP key to turn the error tone off, then print a Message ConfirmationReport to check the source of the problem (to do this, press the COPYkey twice with no documents loaded).Voice Request Tone: During a fax session, either you or the personat the remote fax machine may initiate a voice request. When theperson at the remote fax machine either initiates or answers yourvoice request, your MFP machine emits a repetitive warbling sound.End of Session Tone: At the end of every successful fax session,your MFP machine emits a beep to inform you that there were noerrors or problems in the communication.Off-Hook Alarm Tone: If your MFP machine is equipped with ahandset, and if the handset is left off the hook, your MFP machineemits an intermittent warbling sound. To turn off the sound, hang upthe handset or press the STOP key.
