The 45MG was designed to meet the requirement of the IP67 rating(Ingress Protection rating).Olympus cannot guarantee any level of ingress protection rating once the instrumentseals have been manipulated. You must use sound judgment, and take properprecautions before exposing the instrument to harsh environments.To maintain the original level of ingress protection, you are responsible for the propercare of all routinely exposed membrane seals. Additionally, you are responsible forreturning the instrument to an authorized Olympus service center on an annual basisto ensure that the instrument seals are properly maintained.1.3 Instrument Hardware ComponentsThe 45MG front panel features a color display and a keypad. The instrument comeswith a wrist strap. An optional protective rubber boot includes a dust flap seal for theUSB communication connector, strap rings at the four corners, and a stand at the backof the instrument (see Figure 1-1 on page 20).
