Chapter 6 Using Calculator84Viewing recent calculationsThe Recent Calculations command enables you to review the last series ofcalculations and is particularly useful for confirming a series of “chain”calculations.To display recent calculations:1. Press Command Stroke + l.Alternately, press Function + Menu , and then selectRecent Calculations on the Options menu.2. After you finish reviewing the calculations, press Function + Enter , ortap OK.Toggles the current number between a negative and positive value.If you want to enter a negative number, enter the number first andthen press the +/- button.Places the current number in memory. Each new number you enterwith the M+ button is added to the total already stored in memory. Thenumber that you add can be either a calculated value or any numberyou enter by pressing the number buttons. Pressing this button hasno effect on the current calculation (or series of calculations); itmerely places the value into memory until it is recalled.Recalls the stored value from memory and inserts it into the currentcalculation.Clears any value that is stored in the Calculator memory.Calculates the square root of a number. Enter the number, and thentap the square root button.
