(It is not supplied from the unit.)2) You may format the hard disk drive for usageby the unit.3) Use the hard disk drive within the guaranteedoperating range (humidity and otherenvironmental conditions).4) Do not place the hard disk drive in an unstablelocations or locations subjected to vibrations.• Some HDD may not operate correctly.• During formatting or copying, do not remove anycables, eject the P2 card, or turn off the power forthe unit or hard disk drive. The power will need tobe turned on again.• No guarantees are made for operation if the1394 HOST mode is established without firstconnecting the HDD (1394.a SBP2 supported)and then the HDD is connected. In this case, turnoff the power, and then release the 1394 HOSTmode.• The hard disk drive is an extremely high-precision device.
