Others108VQT0W82Displaying the Time atthe Travel Destination(World Time)If you set your home area and the traveldestination area when traveling abroadetc., the local time at the travel destinationarea can be displayed on the screen andrecorded on the pictures taken.• Select [CLOCK SET] to set the currentdate and time in advance. (P26)1 Press [MENU/SET] and thenpress 2.2 Press 4 to select the [SETUP]menu icon [ ] and then press 1.3 Press 3/4 to select[WORLD TIME] and then press 1.• If you are setting the world time for thefirst time, the message [PLEASE SETTHE HOME AREA] appears. If thismessage appears, press [MENU/SET]and then set home area from thescreen shown in step 2 in “Setting thehome area [HOME]”.∫ Setting the home area [HOME](Perform steps 1, 2 and 3.)1 Press 3/4 to select [HOME] and thenpress [MENU/SET].2 Press 2/1 to select your home areaand then press [MENU/SET].• The current time is displayed on the topleft of the screen and the timedifference from GMT “Greenwich MeanTime” is displayed on the bottom left ofthe screen.• If daylight saving time [ ] is used atthe home area, press 3. Press 3again to return to the original time.• The daylight saving time setting for thehome area does not advance thecurrent time. Advance the clock settingby one hour.
