Problem Cause and Solution• When making a video conference call by entering an MCU’s conferenceroom number@IP address, "SIP Server" or "Gatekeeper" is set to"ON".→ Change the "SIP Server" and "Gatekeeper" settings to"OFF" (Page 102, Page 104).• A video conference call to a unit with an incompatible software versionwas attempted.→ Check the software version of all parties. Update the unit so that theversions match.• There may be a problem with your communication lines.→ Contact your dealer.• You are trying to make a video conference call by connecting to an MCUor non-Panasonic video conference system.→ When connecting to an MCU or non-Panasonic video conferencesystem, some operations may not function as expected, depending onthe device used by the other party. In this case, contact your dealer.• You are trying to connect to an MCU or non-Panasonic videoconference system that is not compatible.→ Use the outgoing call history to confirm the name of the device, andthen contact your dealer.The image is distorted. • The settings of the switching hub are different to those of the unit.→ Contact your dealer.• Packet loss is occurring. (The network is congested.)→ Check the display of the network status indication (Page 29). If the iconshows only 0–1 bars continuously, press [Status] twice and check thefields "Loss" and "Bandwidth", then contact your networkadministrator or dealer (Page 79).• The maximum bandwidth setting is incorrect.→ During a 3-party video conference call, at least 1 Mbps of bandwidth isrequired. Change the "Max. Bandwidth" setting to a value of"1.0 Mbps" or higher (Page 88, Page 112).→ During a 4-party video conference call, at least 1.5 Mbps of bandwidthis required. Change the "Max. Bandwidth" setting to a value of"1.5 Mbps" or higher (Page 88, Page 112).→ If you are trying to connect to an MCU or non-Panasonic videoconference system, depending on the other party’s device, the imagemay be distorted due to lack of bandwidth.
