Connecting to other equipment118VQT0X92Playing Back Pictureson a TV Screenw Playing back pictures using the AVcable (supplied)• Set the aspect of the TV on the camera.(P30)• Turn the camera and the TV off.1 Connect the AV cable (supplied) to the [AV OUT] socketon the camera.• Connect the AV cable with the [ ]mark facing the [] mark on the[AV OUT] socket.• Hold the AV cable at and insertstraight in or take straight out.2 Connect the AV cable to the videoinput and the audio input socketson the TV.• Yellow: to the video input socket• White: to the audio input socket3 Turn the TV on and select externalinput.4 Turn the camera on.• Do not use any other AV cables except thesupplied one.• The top and bottom or left and right of thepicture may be cut off slightly when it isdisplayed due to the characteristics of the TV.• Depending on the screen mode setting ofthe TV when you connect the camera to awide-screen TV or a high-definition TV,the picture may be stretched horizontallyor vertically and the top and bottom and orleft and right of the picture may be cut offwhen it is displayed. In this case, changethe screen mode setting.• Audio playback is monaural.• Read the operating instructions for the TV.• When you play back a picture vertically, itmay be blurry.• Select [TV ASPECT] to match the aspectof the TV.• You can view pictures on TVs in othercountries (regions) which use the NTSC orPAL system when you set [VIDEO OUT] inthe [SETUP] menu.
