Raritan has not observedany problems or issues from this message, however.Raritan’s US engineering department has developed a configurationwhich supports the “Safely Remove Hardware” icon and avoids thisWindows message. This configuration requires the use of theD2CIM-DVUSB virtual media adapter and the Troubleshooting 3 USBProfile, which configures the D2CIM-DVUSB as a non-composite USBdevice supporting a single virtual media connection. Raritan hassuccessfully tested this configuration in the US and Japan.
