HRI4E Unit only.Remove burner (see manual for instructions).Remove existing pilot shield by removing 2 screws.Install pilot shield provided with Log Set using 2 screws fromprevious pilot shield. Reinstall burner.Read the instructions below carefully and refer to the images. If the logs are broken do not use the unit until they are replaced. Place Log 1 on Rear Log Bracket in front of tabs, ensure Log iscentered. Place small amount of glass crystals on pilot cover, overtop pilot area in front of Log 1.4. Place Log 2 on the glass, angled with the non charred point of theLog is approximately 9-1/4" from the right side of the burner tray.Glass/Beads quantities with Log installationHRI4E 6 lbsHRI6E 9 lbsNote: If glass previously installed - remove 2lbs to equal above quantity.2. Both HRI4E & HRI6E Units.Sweep glass aside from log covers (if already installed) to installRear Log Bracket, clip the front edge of the rear bracket on to rearof the burner as shown below.IMPORTANT: After the Rear Log Brackets are installed glass crystalsmust be reapplied. Glass crystals should not be higher then the rearlog bracket but must cover the screen portion of the pilot cover.
