This condensation is normaland will disappear in a few minutes asthe glass heats up.DO NOT BURN THE APPLIANCEWITHOUT THE GLASS FRONT INPLACE.AUTOMATIC CONVECTIONFAN OPERATIONThe fan operates automatically, turn the knob onthe side of the faceplate to adjust to the desiredspeed. The fan will turn on as the stove comes upto operating temperature. After the unit has beenturned off and the unit cooled to below a usefulheat output range the fan will shut off automatically.During the first few fires, a white filmmay develop on the glass front as partof the curing process. The glass shouldbe cleaned or the film will bake on andbecome very difficult to remove. Use anon-abrasive cleaner and NEVER cleanthe glass while it is hot.OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONSBefore operating this appliance, proceed throughthe following check list.1) Read and understand these Instructions beforeoperating this appliance.2) Check to see that all wiring is correct and en-closed to prevent possible shock.3) Check to ensure there are no gas leaks.4) Make sure the glass door is in place. Never oper-ate the appliance with the door glass removed.5) Verify that all venting and the cap is unobstructed.6) Verify log /glass crystal placement. If the pilotcannot be seen when lighting the unit - the logs/ crystals, or the embers have been incorrectlypositioned.7) The unit should never be turned off and on againwithout a minimum of a 60 second wait.8) When lighting the appliance, the inside of theglass may fog up. This will burn off after a fewminutes of operation.DO NOT BURN THE APPLIANCE WITHTHE GLASS DOOR REMOVED.FIRST FIREThe first fire in your stove is part of the paint curingprocess. To ensure that the paint is properly cured,it is recommended that you burn your fireplace forat least four (4) hours the first time you use it withthe fan on. When first operated, the unit will releasean odour caused by the curing of the paint, theburning off of any oils remaining from manufacturing.Smoke detectors in the house may go off at thistime. Open a few windows to ventilate the room fora couple of hours.The glass panel may require cleaning after the unithas cooled down.
