Encoded video content may cause the displayto appear corrupted in scenes featuring fastmoving objects such as in a sports event oraction video.Low signal level or low picture quality maycause the display to appear corrupted.This does not mean the product is defective.A cell phone within a distance of one-meterradius may cause static on analog and digitalproducts.The brightness and color do not look normal. Go to Screen Adjustment and adjust thescreen settings such as Picture Mode, Color,Brightness and Sharpness.Refer to page 118 for details about theScreen Adjustment menu.Go to System and adjust the Energy Savingsettings.Refer to page 157 for details about theSystem menu.Reset the screen settings to the defaultsettings.Refer to page 131 for details about theReset Picture menu.Broken lines are displayed on the edges of thescreen.If Picture Size is set to Screen Fit, change thesetting to 16:9.Lines (red, green or blue) are displayed on thescreen.These lines are displayed when there is adefect in DATA SOURCE DRIVER IC on themonitor. Contact a Samsung Service Center toresolve the issue.The display looks unstable and then freezes. The screen may freeze when a resolution otherthan the recommended resolution is used or ifthe signal is not stable. To resolve the issue,change the PC resolution to the recommendedresolution.Screen issue
