287Troubleshooting Guide1414 Troubleshooting GuideThere is no sound in HDMI mode. Displayed picture colors may not look normal.Video or sound may not be available. This canoccur if a source device that only supports anolder version of the HDMI standard isconnected to the product.If these issues occur, connect an audio cablealong with the HDMI cable.Some PC graphics cards may notautomatically recognize HDMI signals that donot include sound. In this case, manually selecta sound input.The IR sensor is not functioning. Make sure the sensor light turns on when abutton is pressed on the remote control. If the sensor light does not turn on, turn thepower switch off and then on again on theback of the product.(The power LED lights up red when thescreen is switched off.)If the sensor light still does not turn on afterthe power switch is turned off and then onagain, an internal jack may bedisconnected.Contact your nearest service center to havethe product serviced. If the sensor light that is on does not flashred when a button is pressed on the remotecontrol, the IR sensor may be defective.Contact your nearest service center to havethe product serviced.
