41Two different remote control codes are assigned to this projector:the factory-set code (Code 1) and the secondary code (Code 2).This switching function prevents interference from other remotecontrols when several projectors or video equipment next to eachother are used at the same time.When operating the projector in Code 2, the code for both theprojector and the remote control must be switched to Code 2.To change the code of the projector:Press the Point 8 or OK buttons to switch between Code 1 andCode 2.To change the code of the remote control:Press and hold both the MENU and IMAGE ADJ. button on theremote control for more than 5 seconds to switch between Code1 and Code 2.After changing the code, make sure the remote control operatesproperly.Remote controlShutter demoPress the Point 8 or OK buttons to start Shutter demo. Theautomatic slide shutter closes once with the lamp being turned onand opens up again. This is used for checking the operation of theautomatic slide shutter.✔Note:• When the batteries of the remote control are replaced, the remotecontrol code automatically returns to the initial code (Code 1).Shutter demoRemote controlFor reducing power consumption as well as maintaining the lamplife, the Power management function turns off the projection lampwhen the projector is not used for a certain period.When this function is “On” and if the input signal is interruptedand no button is pressed for more than 30 seconds, the timerdisplay with “No signal” appears on the screen. It starts thecountdown until the lamp is turned off. The countdown time is setto five (5) minutes.When the countdown time has elapsed, the lamp is turned off tocool itself down. The POWER indicator is blinking red during thecooling-off period. When the lamp has been fully cooled down,the POWER indicator changes to green blinking.
