Set the operation mode to MTR. (See “Selecting OperationMode” on page 17.)2. Determine the part you want to replace in advance.Select a point where the replacement audio can becombined well with the original track audio.3. Press the TRACK/INPUT button for the track with the part tobe replaced to enter recording standby (RECORD indicatorflashes).4. Press the 7/9 button again to restart playback before thepart to be replaced.5. When the part to be replaced is reached, press the RECORDbutton to switch to recording (punch in).6. When the end of the part to be replaced is reached, pressthe 8/HOME button to switch to playback (punch out).Punching in/out automatically (AUTOPUNCH)Use this function to start (punch in) and stop (punch out)recording automatically when set IN (starting) and OUT (ending)points are reached.1.
