188 OpenScape Voice functionsCreating a list for selective callsFor call acceptanceYou can create a list of the phone numbers from which you are willing to acceptcalls (also known as a selection list). Your administrator knows how long this listmay be in the OpenScape Voice used on site in your facility.A connection is set up if a caller’s phone number matches a number in the se-lection list. If there is a match:• the caller receives a message that the party refuses to accept any calls withthis number,or • the call is forwarded to an external phone number.Contact your administrator for information on how your OpenScape Voice isconfigured on site.^ Lift the handset.j Enter the code (see the table of codes Page 202).Various announcements deliver the following information:• the name of the feature (selective call acceptance)• the current status (active or inactive)• the current scope of the selection list.These announcements are followed by verbal user prompts that let you:• add entries to the selection list• delete entries in the selection list• check the selection list• activate or deactivate the function.For call rejectionAs for selective call acceptance, you can create a selection list with the phonenumbers of parties from whom you are not willing to accept calls. Your adminis-trator know how long this list may be in the OpenScape Voice used on site inyour facility.A call is not connected if the caller’s phone number matches a number in the se-lection list; the caller is notified that the called party rejects calls from this num-ber.
