To prevent fumes or unpleasantodours from entering the vehiclewhen in stationary traffic and whenrapid heating or cooling of thepassenger compartment is required,press button 4; control indicator inthe button illuminates and air isrecirculated.Press button 4 again to turn airrecirculation mode off; controlindicator in the button extinguishesand outside air is drawn into thevehicle.Air conditioning system 3Operational only with engine runningand with the fan switched on:Control indicator in the buttonilluminates when air conditioning isenabled and extinguishes when thesystem is switched off.Cooling switches off automatically atlow outside temperatures.Switch off cooling when not required,in order to save fuel.9 WarningAir recirculation mode should onlybe used for brief periods, due togradual deterioration in air qualityand an increase in humidity,causing windows to mist up.Driving with air recirculation modeon for extended periods maycause vehicle occupants to feeldrowsy.Press button n (or A/C) = OnPress button again = Off
