H37i Operating Instructions414. Push down on the lift pedal and lift up on thecutting height release lever. Disengage the PTO.2. Push down on deck lift pedal until it latches inthe full up (transport) position.TRANSAXLE LOCKOUTIMPORTANT: DO NOT TOW this mower fasterthan 2 mph (3.2 km/h) with the transaxle lockoutengaged. Towing can produce excessive internalpressure and damage the transaxle(s).To move the mower with the engine NOT running(dead battery, maintenance, etc.), the transaxlesneed to be unlocked (released).1. Raise the body.2. Pull up on each transaxle lockout arm andmove back to engage the step that holds thearm in the UP (unlocked) position.3. The mower will “freewheel” with the arms inthe LOCKOUT position. The levers must be inthe highest position to completely unlock thetransaxles.Transaxle Lockout ArmTransaxle Lockout Arm - Freewheel Position4. After moving the mower, release the arms,placing them down in the normal OPERATINGposition.
