232.2 Operation from the Printer Control PanelBasic Printer Control Panel OperationsIt is necessary to set the printer in the offline mode in order to set up the variousparameters.Press the key to switch to the offline mode and display the menu screen.Key OperationsThe following keys are used on the menu screen.Spool Number IndicationSpooling job number is indicated at the printer control panel. It is active even during thecopy operation.This function is OFF at the factory default setting. Please call our service if you want tohave the function active on your machine. key Switches to the offline mode and displays the menu screen.Returns to the online mode if this key is pressed when themenu screen is displayed.< > key Displays the previous menu item or specified value on thesame level.< > key Displays the next menu item or specified value on the samelevel.< > key Displays the menu item on the lower level.< > key Displays the menu item on the higher level. key Sets the specified value.An [*] mark will be displayed on the right-hand side of thevalue once it has been set.
