For more information about paperweight and requirements, refer to theRecommended Materials for the DocuColor 12.Do not load materials above the fill line located onthe paper guide.KEY POINT: Because of the paper path design ofPaper Tray 5, paper stocks that cause difficultiesbeing fed from Paper Tray 1, 2, 3, or 4 may be fedmore reliably from Paper Tray 5.NOTE: Remove all stock from Paper Tray 5 afterthe job is complete. Dust and moisture can causecopy quality defects.Do not add paper during a copying job.• To prevent damage, close Paper Tray 5 whenyou are not using it.• If you are loading pre-drilled paper, load it withthe undrilled long edge as the leading edge(holes to the left).• Load letter-head paper face up.• If you are loading transparencies, load themwith the white stripe side facing down and asthe leading edge. (The leading edge is theedge that feeds into the copier/printer first.)• Follow these guidelines to prevent static buildup when using transparencies:– Place no more than twenty-five 8.5 x 11inch or A4 transparencies in Paper Tray 5at one time.– Place only one 11 x 17 or A3 transparencyin Paper Tray 5 at a time.– Remove the transparencies from theOutput or Offset Catch Tray beforerunning additional sets.Figure 9: Paper Tray 5
