A slight pressure isrequired to cause the copier/printer to react.If the problem persists, open the Front Door ofthe copier/printer. Close the Front Door andmake a selection on the Touch Screen. If theTouch Screen does not respond to any touchcommands, switch off the power. Wait 15 sec-onds. Then switch on the power. Reprogramthe copier/printer for the copy features that aredesired.You cannot program a job while a screen isopen.Jobs cannot be programmed or copies madewhile some screens, such as administrationscreens, jam clearance screens, or consum-able status information screens, are open.Follow the directions on the informationscreen. Then program the desired job.Copier/printer features are not selectable. Certain features cannot be selected becauseof the previous selections. Generally, featuresor buttons you can select appear selectable toindicate you can use them with the previousselections. Refer to chapter 2, “Getting toknow your DocuColor 12,” for more informa-tion about buttons.You cannot complete the programming. Thecopier/printer times out too quickly and resetsto the default settings.Attempt to complete all the programming morequickly. The time-out values have beenexceeded during the programming. The val-ues can be changed by the System Adminis-trator. Refer to theSystem AdministrationGuide for information about adjusting theMachine Timeouts.
