This device removes all electricalpower to the copier/printer if a fault is detected inthe power supply to the copier/printer.If power is interrupted to the copier/printer,perform the following:1 Locate the Ground Fault Protector on the back ofthe copier/printer in the lower left corner.2 Flip the switch up if the device has been trippedand the switch is in the Off (down) position.If the device interrupts power to the copier/printeragain, or if power has not been restored by theabove procedure, call your Xerox servicerepresentative.CAUTION: The Fuser Roll remains in a cammed-up position if power to the copier/printer isinterrupted while the copier/printer is in use. If theFuser Roll remains in the cammed-up position fora prolonged period of time, the Fuser Roll can bedamaged and copy quality defects can occur. Toprevent any damage, the copier/printer should bepowered on and a copy/print made as soon as thepower is restored. The Fuser Roll will not bereleased from the cammed-up position until thepower is restored, the Power Switch is in the Onposition, and the Start button is pressed again.Figure 18: Ground Fault Protector
