(Idle means not printing, offline, andnot performing any non-printing tasks.)Note: You must be at logon level 2 to use this task.Note: The hours field is specified in military time, that is, 0—23,with 0 signifying midnight.Set Date/Time task Enter the following command:SET TIMEmm/dd/yy hh:mm:ssYou can separate the numbers in the date with a slash (/) or a dash(—). You can use the numbers from 1 to 12 for the months or thefollowing abbreviations: JAN, FEB, MAR, APR, MAY, JUN, JUL,AUG, SEP, OCT, NOV, DEC.You can separate the numbers in the time with a colon (:). Enteringthe seconds is optional; the system assumes :00 if you do not enterthe seconds.Because the command is designed to allow you to change either thetime, the date, or both, you do not enter commas for missingelements when setting only one of them. To change only the time, forexample, enter:SET TIME 10:27Track console activity with Data Capture Utility (DCU)Use this task to track console activity. DCU creates a console log ofall LPS console entries and system console messages.The following commands are used with the Data Capture Utility(DCU):• DCU CAPTUREUse this command to start or stop logging of all LPS consoleentries and system console messages. This command createsthe log file which automatically records all LPS console entriesand system console messages for the specified number ofdays. You can specify that a message display at the selectedinterval to indicate logging of console entries. You can alsodisplay or print the log file you create.• DCU DELETEUse this command to delete all data logged in the file or todelete all data through the specified date.• DCU EXITUse this command to stop DCU and unload the DCUprocessing task from the system. This frees up the memoryused by DCU. To begin logging console data again, you mustrecreate the log file using the DCU CAPTURE CONSOLEcommand.
