Do not place the printer where people may step on the power cord. Do not place objects on the power cord. Do not obstruct the ventilation openings. Making a contact with a voltage point orshorting out a part could result in fire or electrical shock. If you notice unusual noises or odors, switch off the printer power immediately. Disconnect the power cordfrom the electrical outlet. Call an authorized service representative to correct the problem.
