See page 33 for setting the printer control panel.Edge-to-edgeThis feature prints text and images to the physical edge of the page. If not selected, theprinter defaults to predetermined printable areas for each paper size. When printingedge-to-edge, there may be some loss of data at the edge due to mechanical and physicalrestraints.Collating copiesWhen you print multiple copies of a print job, you can have it collated at the printer. Eachcopy (pages 1, 2, and 3, etc.) is printed before the next copy. Otherwise, the printer printsall copies of page 1, then all copies of page 2, etc.If you do not have the optional hard drive and the print job runs out of printer memory, then the collated copies will be broken into chunks as large as memory allows. All collatedcopies will still be printed, but you will have to put the chunks in order by hand.NoteMany applications have a collate option in their Print dialog box. Since collationdone at the printer is faster than collation performed by an application, onlyselect collation in the printer driver (not in the application) for faster printing ofa collated job.For Windows 95/98/Me (PS/PCL5e) operating systems:1.
