Depending on the types of jobs runand their frequency, you may want more than one fuser available, such as the followingfor example:• One fuser roll for narrower paper• One fuser for wider paperPreventing Fuser Damage1. To reduce 11 in./279.4 mm lines and wear marks, you may require the use of twofusers - one when running 8. 5x 11 in./A4 stock, and the other when running 12 x18 in./304.8 x 457.2 mm or larger stock. This is especially true for the graphic artspeople.2. Image quality defects such as marks or spots will occur every 110 mm/4.3 in. on theprints if the fuser roll is damaged. Defects which occur every 98 mm/3.89 in. indicatea damaged fuser belt.Fuser Paper Width InformationThe press is delivered and installed with a standard type fuser that accomodates allpaper width sizes. However, the press allows for the installation of other fuser assembliesand paper width types for printing specific paper width ranges.
