User Mode 6 - U6 (Detack Lamp ControlMode)If the print quality of prints made on Film media lack sharpness or are too light inappearance, a Detack Lamp in the print process can be switched Off using Mode 6. Thissetting increases the amount of Toner transferred to the print.1. With the printer in the Standby (idle) condition, press the Menu Key 6 times to enterMode 6.The Menu Key lights and the display indicates U6 on the left side of the display andthe current setting on the right side.2. Press Enter3. Press the <-- key to decrease the value to 0 (Off)The range is 1- On and 0 - Off4. Press the Online Key to exit the User Mode.NOTEIf a higher than normal jam rate is experienced, the Detack Lamp may have tobe switched on again.NOTEFactory default is 0, Off.User Mode 7 - U7 (Attention BeeperEnable Mode)This mode controls a beeper sound whenever the printer needs attention. For example,the printer will beep if it is out of paper or out of toner.The beeper will switch off when the situation is corrected.
