6-52 Xerox WorkCentre C226 System Administration GuideFax UnitAuto wake up printUse this setting to select how the machine responds if a fax is received when themachine power switch is turned off (the fax power switch is turned on).Auto wake up print is normally turned on, which means that the machine automaticallyactivates and prints the received fax. If you turn off this setting, received faxes will notbe printed until the machine power switch is turned on.Pause time settingThis setting is used to select the duration of pauses that are inserted in destination faxnumbers. Normally the setting is 2 seconds, which means that each time the [PAUSE]key is touched when dialing or storing a fax number, a pause of 2 seconds is inserted.The pause time can be set to any number of seconds from 1 to 15.Original print on transaction reportThis program is used to have part of the first page of the fax printed on the transactionreport . This program is used in conjunction with the transaction report print select set-ting (next page), and is not effective when printing of the transaction report is disabled.This program is normally configured so that part of the fax is printed on the transactionreport when a transmission is not successful.Speaker volume settingThis program is used to adjust the volume of the six following sounds that are emittedfrom the speaker: 1.speaker, 2. ringer volume, 3. line monitor, 4. fax receive signal, 5.Fax communication error signal, 6. scan complete sound.To change the volume, touch the desired volume key.
