Administrator’s Guide for SIP-T2xP IP Phones34When you are in an active call, the call waiting feature notifies you of the newincoming call, and presents the incoming call visually on the phone LCD screen. If thecall waiting feature is disabled, the new incoming call will be automatically rejectedby the IP phone with a busy message.NoteCall Waiting ToneYou can also enable or disable the playing of a short ―Call Waiting Tone" when there isan incoming call on your IP phone. This feature is enabled by default. If you have CallWaiting Tone enabled, and a call comes into the IP phone when you are in an active call,a tone is audible to notify you of that incoming call. Click Confirm to save the change.If the call waiting feature is disabled and the IP phone is in an active call, the MissedCalls list does not get updated with details of incoming calls.
