The IP phone will use the headset according to the priority: USBheadset>YHS33.• Activating the Headset Mode• Deactivating the Headset ModeActivating the Headset ModeAfter connecting a headset to your phone, you can activate the headset mode and use the headset when answering andplacing calls.ProcedurePress the HEADSET key on the phone.The HEADSET key LED glows green, and the headset icon appears on the phone screen.Note: You can initiate or end calls by pressing the HEADSET key. Check with your system administratorto find out if it is available on your phone.Deactivating the Headset ModeIf you do not want to use a headset to handle calls, you can deactivate the headset mode.ProcedurePress the HEADSET key again on the phone.The HEADSET key LED goes out, and the headset icon disappears from thephone screen.Using an EXP50 Expansion ModuleWhen the EXP50 extension module is connected to your Skype for Business phone, you can specify the group ofSkype for Business contacts to display on the EXP50 extension module, so that you can quickly call the contact bypressing the corresponding EXP key. You can also view your Skype for Business contacts’ presence status from yourexpansion module.Procedure1. Connect the supplied cable from the USB jack on the host phone to the mini USB jack on the expansion module.2. Navigate to Menu > Settings > Basic > Exp Module.3. Select a desired group of Skype for Business contacts.
