The analog port on a 3C10120B ATA has a picture of an analogtelephone beside it. See Figure 31. The analog port on a 3C10400 ATA islabeled POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service). See Figure 32.The Analog Terminal Adapter may require a telephone connector for useoutside North America. Contact your supplier for more information oncountry-specific requirements.2 Connect the Ethernet port on the ATA to the LAN. The Ethernet port on a3C10120B ATA is the connector on the far left side. The 3C10120B Ethernet hub port has apicture of an NBX Business telephone beside it. The Ethernet hub port onthe 3C10400 ATA is labeled PC.4 Connect the AC power adapter to the AC power connector on the ATA.If you are using a powered Ethernet cable instead of the AC adapter, see“Using Power over Ethernet with an ATA” next.5 Plug the AC power adapter into a wall outlet.6 Auto Discover the ATA.
