182 CHAPTER 8: PSTN G ATEWAY CONFIGURATIONModifying IP Settings You can modify the IP settings for a Digital Line Card to meet changingrequirements.To use the NBX NetSet utility to modify IP settings, the line card must beon the same subnetwork as the Call Processor.The BRI and ATC/ALC daughter cards on the 3C10164D-ST card share thesame IP address. (There are no individual IP settings for channels on the3C10164D-ST card, as they all share the same IP address.) Therefore,depending on the configuration, you can change the IP address either ofthese methods:■ Click PSTN Gateway Configuration > Digital Line Cards, click anextension, and then click the IP Settings tab.■ Click Telephone Configuration > ATA, click an extension, and thenclick the IP Settings tab.If you change the IP address for any of the daughter cards, the IP addressof the other daughter cards changes as well. You can use this methodonly when the Call Processor and the 3C10164D-ST are located on thesame subnetwork.3C10165D E1 and 3C10116D T1 Digital Line Cards do not support DHCPlease times of less than 20 minutes.To modify the IP settings of a Digital Line Card:1 Click PSTN Gateway Configuration > Digital Line Cards.2 Click the MAC address of a Digital Line Card.3 Click the IP Settings tab.4 To assign IP addresses, enter the first address in the First IP Address field.The system sequentially adds the remaining addresses. 3C10165D E1,3C10116D T1, and 3C10164D BRI Digital Line Cards need only one IPaddress.Assigning IP Addresses One at a TimeTo assign IP addresses one at a time per channel on cards that supportthis feature:1 Click PSTN Gateway Configuration > Digital Line Cards.2 Click the MAC address of a Digital Line Card.3 Click the IP Settings tab.
