Afterthe IP address of the server changes, the server needs to request the DDNS serviceprovider to notify the DNS server of this. This is usually done by using a special clientprogram provided by the DDNS service provider or through a specified HTTP page.The domain name-to-IP address mapping update process does not follow a particularprotocol; it varies by DDNS service provider.z Service provider side of DDNSAfter receiving an IP address update request from the user side, the DDNS serviceprovider notifies the DNS server to update the involved domain name-to-IP addressmapping.At present, www.3322.org is the only DDNS service provider supported by 3ComSeries Routers.3Com Series Routers implement the user side of DDNS.
