Command CompletionThe 6416SW management command line accepts abbreviated command input with afacility called command completion. Command completion lets you enter a commandand its parameters by typing the minimum number of characters to uniquely identify thecommand or a parameter.For example, to enter the SAVE command, you only need to type SA and press thespace bar:@ONcoreATM> saThe system automatically fills in the rest of the command:@ONcoreATM> saveTo enter a parameter, such as COMMUNITY, with the SAVE command, you can type thefirst few letters (for example, COMM) and press the space bar:@ONcoreATM> save commThe rest of the parameter is automatically entered:@ONcoreATM> save communityIf you enter an insufficient number of letters (for example, only S or C) for the system todetermine the command or parameter (for example, Set, Show, Save and so on), theword is not completed and you are prompted to enter the rest of the command.
