Configuration3-8 MX2800 STS-1 User Manual 61200659L1-1VT Interface #1-28The VT Interface menu allows the user to map a Port (T1/E1) to aVT, activate/deactivate the T1 and E1 mapped to the VT, and to setthe line coding, length, loopback detection, circuit protection, lineID string, and disable/enable the hairpin loopback. Any available port (1-28) can bemapped to a VT. An error will be returned if the port is alreadymapped to another VT. Selecting U NEQUIPPED will free the portfrom mapping and disable the VT.T1 StateSet unused T1 lines to D ISABLED. Set used T1 lines to E NABLED.T1 CodingSet the line code for each individual T1 interface to match theconnected device. The choices available for T1 are AMI and B8ZS.
