When an SNMP Trapis generated, the 2E4X-27R sends the Trap to the default gateway. To setthe default gateway, perform the following steps:1. Use the arrow keys to highlight the Default Gateway field.2. Enter the IP address of the default gateway using the DDN format.For example: 134.141.79.1213. Press ENTER. If the default gateway entered is a valid format, thecursor returns to the beginning of the Default Gateway field. If theentry is not valid, the screen displays “INVALID DEFAULTGATEWAY OR FORMAT ENTERED”. Local Management does notalter the current value, but it does refresh the Default Gateway fieldwith the previous value.4. Use the arrow keys to highlight the SAVE command.5. Press ENTER.
